Royal Milk Tea Kit Kat 03-20-2010

Feelings: Since I had an overwhelming reaction to Ginger Ale Kit Kat from the readers, I decided to go back to Jas Mart for more. Unfortunately, they were all sold out on Ginger Ale flavor, but I found royal milk tea flavor instead. "Royal Milk Tea" is tea that is brewed in milk, and in Japan, this tea with milk is considered to be quintessentially English, thus the packaging of kilt and the cute illustration of Queen's Guard.

It was covered in white chocolate, and the inside tasted like tea flavored cookies. It was quite delicious and had much more expected flavor than ginger ale. I wonder what flavor Jas Mart will stock up on next!

Have you tried the matcha kit kat? That might be seasonal though.

My friend just gave me some KitKats she bought for me in Japan. She got us green tea and I believe custard (it had a picture of something that looked like flan on the back). I just tasted the custard, delish. Very milky.

Okay, and now I just tasted the green tea. I like that more than the custard. If we have any left over, by the time I get home, (my husband eats EVERYTHING since he's home most of the time) I'll bring you some at R&F next week.
