Le Petit Belge 03-02-2009

Feelings: Almost every time we are in Union Square, which is almost everyday, we must stop at the tiny Belgian dessert shop, Le Petit Belge. Their chewy and soft Belgian waffles are to die for, and their macarons are extremely soft and crispy and perfectly sweet. The best, however, is their chocolate fondant. As their store staff advises you, you would need to microwave about 30-40 seconds to get the silky chocolate heaven in the center to perfectly melt. It soaks up the chocolate cake layer outside and becomes a heavenly treat.
